Resumen
Resumen: Este artículo trata de relacionar los elementos del sistema periódico con los alimentos, así como mostrar las funciones que desempeñan en el organismo . Para lo elementos que no poseen uso alimentario se indicará si son o no radioactivos y alguna aplicación en otra área.
El objetivo es hacer a los estudiantes de ciencias más atractivo e intuitivo el aprendizaje de la química, relacionando un aspecto teórico como la tabla periódica con la presencia de los diferentes elementos químicos en la vida cotidiana .

Abstract: This article deals with the relationship of the periodic system with the food as well as the way food interact with the human body. In the cases of elements without application in the food area, we will indicate whether the element possesses radioactivity and some application in other fields. The main purpose of this article is to make more attractive and approachable the studies of the chemistry to the students of science, establishing practical relations between the periodic table and the chemical components of our daily life.
