Chemical journey to the atmospheres of the planets of the solar system: A proposal for contextualized learning of science

Abstract

In this article, using the context of an imaginary trip to the planets of the solar system, different chemical concepts for the compulsory school and high school are worked. The kinetic theory for gases, the interaction between radiation and matter, changes of state and some chemical reactions with gases: hydrogen, sulphur dioxide, ammonia. Some of this contexts and activities are part from a project of chemistry in context in Catalonia.
