Abstract

In this paper an initial discussion on the interest and problematic of scientific (particularly chemistry) popularization is shown. Ideas for the celebration of young people and children’s parties by means of scientific experiments and activities are expressed. Different experiences to perform, as well as their sources, and examples of development of such events are proposed. Finally, conclusions reached by authors after the practical realization of this kind of activities are presented. It is considered that these celebrations, carried out properly, can be a focus to interest children and young people in the curiosity and in the fields of science.
