Resumen
Resumen: Este artículo trata de la figura señera y carismática del Profesor John Bannister Goodenough, Premio Nobel de Química en 2019, que este pasado mes de julio cumplió 100 años, permaneciendo aún en activo en la Universidad de Tejas en Austin (Estados Unidos). Allí recibió un gran homenaje que incluyó la celebración de un Simposio y un Workshop para conmemorar tan señalada efemérides.

Abstract: This article is devoted to the outstanding and charismatic figure of Professor John Bannister Goodenough, Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2019, who turned 100 this past July and is still active at the University of Texas in Austin (USA). There, he received a great tribute, which included the celebration of a Symposium and a Workshop in his honor on this very special occasion.
